We Love Our Baby

We love you baby and can't wait to meet you.

With the baby's arrival date quickly approaching, we have had many talks about what it will be like when she gets here. We are all super excited and had to make a chain to see just how many "sleeps" until she finally arrives. There have been lots of questions and explaining during these little chats and it has been fun to see how their little minds try to make sense of all of it. What I love the most is how the little things they do show how much they love her already.

Caden is really intrigued with how the Doctor will get her out, which is easier for me to explain than most since I have C-Sections. At first I was very gentle with the information because I didn't want him to be worried for me but I soon found out that the cutting interested him more than it intimidated him and he really wants to watch. When I told him he couldn't, he asked if Daddy could at least take some pictures so he can see the blood. What a kid. He is really excited to see how small she is and he loves to feel her kick. He just recently started telling her little stories when he is laying on my belly. He is going to be a great big brother!!!

Kamrie can't wait for the baby to get here because she wants to take her down the slide on her "lappy lap." When I try to explain that this will not be possible for quite some time she forcefully explains the baby will be on her lap and she will keep her safe. I am a little nervous as to how helpful Kamrie is going to be but at least I know she is going to love her.

That's so cute. I'm surprised he Kaden wasn't scared to hear about the C-section. I tried to get Jules to talk to my belly today and feel her but she just looked at me all weird. I think 21 months might be a little young to really understand what's going on.

That is really cute! I am so excited for you and your family. My kids use to use my belly as a pillow. Kind of a hard pillow if you ask me!

Very Cute and loving kids. They definately seem very excited to meet their sister. That is crazy how Caden wanted to be in there with you.

For the Bubbles I just used dish soap, you really don't have to use that much, so hopefully not too bad on the little tummies:) Do you remember doing that in joy school at all? It is one of my few memories of joy school.
