The Beginnig of the Rest of His Life

Well, the big day has come and gone. There was so much anticipation for Caden's first day of school. I still can't believe that he is old enough for kindergarten. We had a really good time taking him and introducing him to the world of Grade school ...Brady had the day off so he was able to be a part of it all. It was great for me to have his support and have someone to drag me away as Caden walked in and gave me a second glance and a wave as if to say, "are you going to be okay mom?" I am so proud of him and it is fun to see him grow, but so hard to have to let go just the tiniest bit.
We live super close to the school so we are able to walk or ride bikes at least while it is warm. Caden loves an excuse to ride his bike everyday and Brady even gave him his bike lock from back in the day so he feels totally cool.

Locking up his bike.Waiting for the door to open. His first moments in class.
Caden you are such a big boy and I am so proud of you every single day. I hope that as you go out into the world little by little you will remember how much we love you and that no matter how big you get, you will always be my little miracle baby. I love you buddy.

Birthdays

My babies just keep growing. Caden and Kamrie both recently had birthdays. It is crazy how time flies. Every time I think about it, I'm blown away at the fact that I have 3 kids, but every night after they are sound asleep I thank my Heavenly Father for blessing me with the opportunity to be their mom. It is not always an easy job, but they are great kids and I couldn't love them more.

Caden's birthday was first, he had a Transformer party. We invited some of his brand new friends here in Colorado. There was transformer music, a small episode to get everyone in the mood, an obstacle course, food, cake, and a hunt for the All spark. The boys had a great time and Caden was on top of the world.

Kamrie was next. Her request was, you guessed it, a PRINCESS party. We had a new family of friends over for a cook out and a little party with their girls. Kamrie was so excited to have new friends over and Caden was a huge helper. Before our friends came over he asked what games we were playing. I told him I hadn't planned any games but we would just play and have fun...he thought we should have games so he drew a picture of a princess and we played "put the crown on the princess." Everyone loved it, what a great idea. Kamrie was so happy to be the "PRINCESS" for a day.

Quick Family Shots

When we were in Utah earlier this summer, Brady's Dad took some quick pictures of our family since we had a recent addition. Thanks Steve!!! We are looking forward to some new ones soon where Avery will be looking a little more lively. Until then, here is our growing family.

All the fun

It seems like everyone has been updating lately so it is nice to know that I'm not the only one that has gotten behind this summer. I haven't been really great at remembering the camera all the time, but here are some of the things we have been up to the last few months.

Getting to know, and loving our new baby sister.

The end, but also a new beginning.

Some of the grads

A few of the wives. These girls and many others like them were my family while we were in Indy. They will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thanks girls for all the memories. You will be missed.
The kids, all tuckered out from helping with the move.Kamrie and I on the flight from Indy to Utah. Thanks Linz and Whit for all the help and for making the trip so much fun. Kamrie still talks about it.
Sun and Snow, just a few days apart.
We went to Utah and had some beautiful boating weather. The water was freezing but the sun was shining.

Then a couple days later we were in Idaho and were able to take the kids sleigh riding and snowmobiling in the hills where there was still snow, and the sun was still shining. Talk about the best of both worlds.

Fun at our new house

Still growing...

These baby birds were the craziest thing this year. Three different times we found baby birds in our window well. My guess is they were learning how to fly. This time I let Caden catch him and put him in the back yard. What a big guy.

We love our Cousins
