Our Weekend in a Nutshell

We had a really great Easter weekend! The weather didn't really cooperate but the Easter Bunny still made it. We went to an indoor Easter egg hunt at the YMCA on Saturday morning and even got to meet the Easter Bunny! Caden got a picture with him but Kamrie was terrified so we just got one of her screaming with him in the background. Later that day we colored eggs and decorated cupcakes. The kids loved dying the eggs. Caden was so careful and Kamrie tried to taste all of the cups before she put her eggs in...what can I say the girl loves putting things in her tummy. Sunday the kids got all dressed in their Easter duds for church and then we had a big traditional Easter dinner with our little family. We were sad that we missed the family get togethers but we are making memories with our little family here in Indy. We had a lot of fun and it was great to set a little time aside to reflect on the reason for Easter. We are so lucky that we know of the joy of this season.
The kiddies in their Easter Best. We even got them to pose for this one, I'm not sure that has ever happened before.

Your kids are so cute! Look at Kamrie~ she's so sweet and she has such a nice big brother. It makes me think of my little boy and how he would have been with Addi! This picture is so precious! Happy Easter

That is so neat that they actually posed together, my whole family did pictures this weekend and we tried to get some of all the grandkids lets just say the only one that even show a little of Olivia is the one of her feet and bum as she is scrambling out of the shot as fast as she can!

That's such a cute picture of the two of them. I can't wait for the day when my two will hold still long enough to get a cute picture! :) Loved the picture of you & her with the easter bunny in the background.

Sometimes I really wish that I could move away from family to have our own little traditions like you are establishing. The kids are adorable. I'm glad you were able to enjoy. Happy Easter.

What a sweet pose! Can't believe Kam's cute comment about shoes! What a doll. Caden's always been tough, I knew he could help you lift those boxes! So what's the decision? Are you running the mini marathon? That's very ambitious! Notice that I finally blogged? Hope all is well. Love you guys! -Kyr.
